Be trained on how to serve as an online meeting volunteer, helping individuals seeking independence from their addictive and problematic behavior. We all know family members, friends, spouses, professional peers and colleagues who have been adversely impacted by some form of addiction, as well as those who have lost their lives or loved ones because of it.
Volunteers are NOT required to be a professional in the addiction recovery industry or have had to have had a personal life experience with addiction. Our SMART training programs will provide the necessary skills, knowledge, and tools to teach how to be an effective meeting facilitator, capable of handling small and larger groups of individuals.
Online meeting volunteers can work from home, library or any location that provides wifi/internet access. We use Zoom meetings to allow people to connect to our SMART 24x7x365 online meetings.
