From Me 2 U, Inc. (FM2U), a successor organization began under V.O.I.C.E Consulting (VOICE), a for-profit social enterprise organization that offers Consulting Services. Following, the 2011 closure of prevention program, that employed the VOICE CEO, and with an incessant spark from a former student enrolled in those programs, excited to become a leader in the leadership program the following year; the CEO began to cultivate the Signature Six programs that are now offered by From Me 2 U, Inc. FM2U was born in the Glenville community, just south of the bridge that borders Bratenahl and Cleveland.

The program remained there until asked to vacate its home due to management’s desire to sell the property, just as decisions were to offer Summer programming. Six years of building foundational components, community trust & respect, becoming state certified as a prevention program, & obtaining its first major contract with the local school district, FM2U had to relocate, remarket, and establish new relationships in a new community, Shaker Square.

Agency Goals:

1. To increase youth experiences with positive social-emotional relationships.

2. To improve literacy skills in English /Language Arts, Mathematics, and Science.

3. To increase youth engagement in civic activities through service.

From Me 2 U, Inc. offers educational services to the public.

We have Six Signature Programs:

1. Becoming Me (BM), an internship training and coaching program for college students. BM trains college students to implement programs and services offered by FM2U.

2. Inventing Me (IM,) a group mentoring program for youth in grades 3-5 that incorporates 4-H, STEM, Service Learning, and prevention/wellness activities served ten youth last year.

3. Working On Me, is a technopreneurship program that trains middle school youth in three areas: coding, podcasting/videocasting, and photography to start a business using technology. Each year participants are engaged in a Through Their Eyes Challenge

4. Choose 2 Be U (C2BU) community & school-based, a life coaching program for high school students.

5. Inspired By Me (IBM) is a life coaching program for adults.

6. The Best of Me (BOM) is an intervention service for youth and adults that assist with anger management, self-esteem, and self-management.

A la carte programs:

1. The Young Writer's Club, a literacy program, and a book publishing program for youth and adults.

2. Lead the Way, a leadership training program offered to youth-serving organizations that have a youth leadership team.

3. Parent Day Away (Summer Weekend Mini-Camp) serves pre-kindergarten and kindergarten youth in our R U Ready 4 Kindergarten Track and first and second-grade youth in the Jr. Scientists Track.
