A Volunteer Guardian serves as a decision maker and advocate for an adult deemed legally incompetent by the Probate Court. The individuals we serve have nobody involved in their lives who can step into that role. The Volunteer Guardian acts in the best interest of the ward as an advocate and substitute decision-maker in the care and management of medical and personal affairs.
