Lutheran Metropolitan Ministry (LMM) has provided adult guardianship services in Northeast Ohio for more than 25 years and is Cuyahoga County’s sole provider of guardianship services.

LMM's Guardianship Services provides legal guardians to serve as concerned, caring advocates and surrogate decision-makers for indigent, incompetent adults who cannot care for themselves and have often encountered abuse or exploitation. Guardians look after the emotional, social, financial and physical well-being of these vulnerable adults.

Volunteer guardians are a reflection of the core values and principles that provide the foundation of our work. The relationship between guardians and the people we serve is unique and purposeful.
