What We Do
Our Work
At United Way of Lake County we help people.There is a face behind every program we serve. A mother grateful for formula to sooth her baby's hunger. A teen relieved to find help outside the dark tunnel of addiction. A senior comforted knowing access to warm meals and needed medication is available. A woman and her children's terror from domestic abuse alleviated by access to a safe haven. A parent's burden lifted knowing her children will not go to bed hungry. A child's confidence boosted knowing he or she can now read to the level of his classmates and will not be left behind. A homeless little girl most thankful for a shower. These are just some of the people your support impacts when you give to United Way of Lake County.
